The Conservation Commission is a seven-member panel of volunteers appointed by the Board of Selectmen. The group acts as a watchdog for the town's natural resources and is tasked with protecting watershed and wetland resource areas; reviewing permits for proposed projects; and working with town officials and boards on conservation matters.
