Dianne M. Gootman, 62, of Holliston, passed away Friday, January 6, 2012. Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and June (Dugan) McLean. She was the wife of Alan H. Gootman of Holliston.

An active member of St. Mary’s Church in Holliston as well as an employee, Dianne was a gardener, bird watcher and enjoyed time spent with her family. Special thanks is given to the doctors and nurses of the 5th floor at Milford Hospital for their care.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons, Jason Gootman of Natick, Andrew Gootman of Basking Ridge, NJ, Jeff Gootman and Lindsay Harris of Wallingford, CT; her siblings, Lois Mossa of Sutton, Carol Wilbur of Webster,
Susan Reno of Dudley, John McLean of Hudson, Helen McLean of Ware, Paula Anderson of Webster and David McLean of Northbridge. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Claire and Ben Gootman of Basking Ridge, NJ, and Julia Gootman of Wallingford, CT, as well as her friends, Glen and Jean Hall of Hopedale and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother Bernard McLean.
