The Holliston High School PTSA is holding its annnual tree sale from Nov. 27 - Dec. 23 at the Depot Liquor Store on Woodland Street. Volunteers are needed to fill two-hour shifts on weekends and weekday evenings. Feel free to coordinate with friends to make this a fun, social event. Shifts can be reserved by contacting Lisa Losurdo at losurdo5@comcast.net and by filling out a form at the PTSA website.
All correspondence regarding the tree sale will be via e-mail. It is a volunteer's responsibility to check e-mail prior to working a shift for cancellations due to inclement weather. All volunteers who are high school age or older will qualify for entry into the scholarship pool, while parent volunteers will receive a chance for their high school students.
All shifts will be confirmed via e-mail as the date of your shift approaches. Chances for the scholarship drawing can also be earned for signing up for snow removal at the Depot Liquor Store site. For your comfort, dress warmly and bring gloves as you will be handling trees as they are sold.
