John Stephen Bray, a lifelong fourth generation resident of Holliston, died December 26, 2011 at his home. He was the son of Marguerita Cleary and Stephen F. Bray and the brother of Stephen Bray Jr., Virginia DeConto and Marguerite Montvitt.

Mr. Bray was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He was commander of the American Legion for a number of years. He was also active in town as a member of the Holliston Housing Authority.

Besides his wife, Lucille (Carbonneau) Bray, he leaves four children; Michael Bray of Holliston, Timothy Bray and John
Bray Jr. of New Hampshire, and Elaine (Bray) Carrier of Holliston. He also leaves 8 grandchildren; Kathryn Bray, Angela Bray, Benjamin Bray, Gabrielle Carrier, Isabelle Carrier and Angelique Carrier all residing in Holliston, and
Adam Bray and Emily Bray of New Hampshire. He also leaves 4 great grandchildren; Joseph, Savannah and Violet Copeland all of Holliston, and Jackson Bray of New Hampshire.

John Bray was an amazing, caring husband, father and
grandfather and was able to spend his last Christmas with his entire family by his side.
