Ryan Palmer inducted into Nursing Honor Spciety
Ryan Palmer of Hopkinton, Mass. was recently inducted into the Tau Rho Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society for nursing at Quinnipiac University. Palmer was one of 49 undergraduate students inducted this semester at a School of Nursing ceremony.
To be eligible for induction, an undergraduate student must be in the top 35 percent of their graduating class, have completed at least one-half of their degree curriculum, as well as meet the expectation of academic integrity.
Quinnipiac launched the School of Nursing in 2011 in recognition of the ever-increasing role registered nurses and advance practice nurses play on health care teams. The School of Nursing offers a traditional bachelor of science in nursing and an accelerated BSN for second degree students. A doctoral-level graduate program preparing adult, family and women's health nurse practitioners is available for post-bachelor's degree nurses. The program also offers two doctoral-level post-master's tracks in individual or population care.
