All color Senior Portraits & baby pictures for the Class of 2013 must be in the hands of the yearbook staff no later than October 1, 2012. Any portrait or baby photo submitted after this date will not be included in the 2013 yearbook. There will be no exceptions. Please check with your professional photography studio on whether or not they will deliver your pictures for you and let them know your deadline. Digital images are HIGHLY preferred. Baby Pictures (Submit one):
Given that we are in a different age of technology we understand that most of these images will be originals. Please, if you are submitting an original photo send the following along with it: a self addressed stamped envelope for safe return and the name of your child in the senior class preferably attached to the photo or written on the back. If you have a scanner at home it would be of great help if you scan the image and send it in on a CD or upload to E-Share. Image requirements are below.
Senior Candids:
We are asking all seniors to submit 5-10 candid photos for potential use in the 2013 yearbook. Again, digital files are preferred. Any images downloaded off of the internet will not meet the digital image requirements. Any digital photos must be in their original format. The yearbook reserves the right to censor inappropriate photos. Please upload digital files to E-Share.
Digital Image Requirements:
The resolution of digital images must be 300 dpi. For Senior Portraits the photo must be vertical format and be 2x3 inches in dimension. JPG format is preferred. Photographs must be submitted on a CD or uploaded to E-Share. If you wish to have your CD returned, please send along a self addressed stamped envelope as well.
Do not imbed a photograph in a word document. This is not an original format.

The yearbook will not accept images via email (too many get lost in the shuffle and if anything ever crashes we have a back-up). Only images on CD or images uploaded to E-share.
The 2013 Yearbook Staff would like all students and photographers to abide by the following guidelines when submitting Senior Portraits:
- No weapons or anything of a violent nature in photographs.
- Clothing must follow the guidelines set forth in the Hopkinton High School Student Handbook.
- No props, pets or other people in the picture.
- Vertical headshots only for the yearbook. No Landscape Portraits.
- No hand gestures.
- Please submit only 1 photo. We do not want to make that decision for you.
Photography studios submitting large quantities of photos to HHS should contact the 2013 Yearbook advisor (Jessica Bacon jbacon@hopkinton.k12.ma.US) to arrange how the files will be delivered. Students & parents please let your photographer know when the deadline is and plan accordingly.
