William Joseph Lucy, 54, of Holliston, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010. Born in Boston, he was the son of Julia (Quinlan) Lucy of Mashpee, and the late John J. Lucy. He was the husband to Kellie E. (Alence) Lucy of Holliston.

William was a 1974 graduate of Dover-Sherborn High School, and a 1980 graduate of Providence College. He was the Vice President of sales at MicroCare Corp of New Britain, CT. He was an avid golfer, sailor , and Boston sports fan and enjoyed spending time at his second home in Osterville, MA.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Caroline H. and Emma Lucy of Holliston. He also leaves behind his siblings, Jane Mascia and her husband David of PA, Karen Wilson and her husband Steven of VA, Paul and his wife Constance of VA, Kelly Foley and her husband Joseph of Boston; as well as his in-laws, Robert and Anne Alence of Buzzard's Bay. He was a devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation took place on Friday, September 10, 2010 at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston (854 Washington Street). A funeral mass was celebrated on Saturday at 9:00a.m. at St. Mary's Church of Holliston. Burial followed at the Highland Cemetery in Dover.
