Our weekday morning column, 5 Things You Need to Know, provides you with information that can help you plan your day and give you some fodder for water cooler conversations.
1. Tonight at 7 the library will be hosting a spirituality speaker at the Faith Community Church. Ann Hood will be speaking about her books The Red Thread, The Knitting Circleand, Comfort; a journey through grief.
2. The Board of Selectmen will be meeting tonight, they are expected to approve the May Town Meeting warrant and interview several candidates for the Upper Charles River Trails Committee.
3. From the Post Prom Planning Committee: ATTENTION SOPHMORE PARENTS!!!! The Prom is just a couple of weeks away. We are now PLEADING for your help to create a safe environment for our children. Please consider this volunteering opportunity. 4. This weekend there is going to be a lot of green in Hopkinton. The HPTA will be having a bottle and can drive. If you're heading towards the town common there will also Spring Green-Up, / Shred Day / Drug Take Back. The Spring Green-Up portion of the day begins at 9 a.m.
