1. Marty Lamb is holding an event today at Owen O'Leary's restaurant in Southborough where he may announce his candidacy for State Representative. Tickets are $35 at the door for the 7 p.m. event.  

2. The Board of Selectmen promoted two members of the Holliston Police Department to detective last night and held a pinning ceremony for the two officers. Check back later in the day for an article with all the details. 

3. Holliston Sportsmen's Association hosts the Junior Rifle Club today where youngsters can learn to shoot target rifles and the fundamentals of gun safety. 

4. Today is the first day of Spring, and with some warm weather heading our way, it looks like it is off to a great start.
