After a search of Holliston that lasted nearly four hours, Police apprehended a driver who fled the scene of a car crash on foot Wednesday night. 

Police apprehended Nicholas Piwko, 19, from Mohegan Circle in Milford in an industrial park on Hopping Brook Road at 3:37 a.m. Thursday morning and transported him for medical care as a result of exposure to cold. 

Holliston police said they are not sure why Piwko decided to flee the scene of the crash. 

State Police helicopters and K-9 units aided in the search. 

Piwko has been summonsed to court for marked lanes violations, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving and breaking and entering.
