Barn Destroyed on Kimball Road, Vandalism at School

Wednesday, May 1
6:51 a.m.: Two vehicles were towed after a crash on West Main Street. One person was hospitalized with neck pain.
4:24 p.m.: A caller reported that a dog on Alprilla Farm Road bit her husband, a FedEx driver, while making a delivery.

Thursday, May 2
12:45 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Main Street and arrested Adam P. Ryba, 23, of 35 Raymond Ave., Northbridge, on charges of speeding and drunken-driving.

7:49 a.m.: A caller from Sunoco reported that a man was hit by a vehicle in the parking lot. Police were unable to locate the vehicle because the driver fled the scene.
Friday, May 3
8:07 p.m.: A caller from Downey Street reported that her 15-year-old daughter ran away with an older teen male from town. Officers spoke with the male at the Hopkinton Town Common and located the girl at 10:52.
Saturday, May 4
10:35 a.m.: A caller from Cumberland Farms reported a fight in the parking lot between two customers. One customer was seen leaving the business toward Upton.
Sunday, May 5
6:57 a.m.: An officer responded to an alarm at one of the schools on Hayden Rowe Street. The officer discovered vandalism on the cafeteria doors.
11:54 a.m.: A caller reported that a man had been to his house on Mount Auburn Street and told the caller's mother that there was a warrant for the caller’s arrest. Two officers responded to the home after a check of the system turned up no warrants on the caller.
5:51 p.m.: The Hopkinton Fire Department responded to a report of fire on Kimball Road. When they arrived the found a barn that had been completely burned down and a continuing brush fire in the area.
Monday, May 6
10:48 a.m.: A caller from South Street reported that catch basin grates had been stolen.
2:00 p.m.: Officers assisted the fire department with a brush fire in the median on West Main Street.
3:43 p.m.: One person was taken into protective custody after a caller reported that he was operating erratically on East Main Street.
