Fire Log: Chimney Fire, Jaws of Life

Fire crews used the Jaws of Life to cut open a crumpled car on Thursday.

Friday, June 1

12:25 a.m.: An ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Marshall Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Natick.

 

Saturday, June 2

10:21 a.m.: An ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical emergency on Washington Street. A resident was transported to UMass/Memorial Medical Center, Worcester. 

7:39 p.m.: An ambulance responded mutual aid to Medway for a medical emergency on Hemlock Drive. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.

 

Sunday, June 3 

4:30 a.m.: An ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Concord Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

5:30 a.m.: An ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Mechanic Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

12:11 p.m.: An ambulance responded to a medical alert on Prentice Street. An ambulance was cancelled prior to arrival. 

2:33 p.m.: Chimney Fire – Deputy Chief Jim Moore, Weekend Duty Officers Captain Mark Dellicker and Lieutenant Timothy Costello, Ladder 1, Engines 1 and 3 responded to a report of a chimney fire on Wingate Drive. 

5:25 p.m.: An ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical emergency on Highland Street. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.

5:30 p.m.: Chief Michael Cassidy, Deputy Jim Moore, and the backup ambulance responded to a motor vehicle crash on Washington Street. One individual was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. 

 

Monday, June 4 

8:39 a.m.: An ambulance responded mutual aid to Sherborn for a motor vehicle crash on Washington Street. One individual was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

10:13 a.m.: The primary ambulance and the backup ambulance responded to a motor vehicle crash on Washington Street. Two individuals were transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. A third individual refused transport and signed a waiver was obtained.

11:30 a.m.: Chief Cassidy responded to an investigation on Hollis Street.

3:10 p.m.: Chief Cassidy investigated a motor vehicle crash on Washington Street. 

3:14 p.m.: Chief Cassidy responded to an electrical investigation on Greenview Drive. NStar Electric was notified.

4:15 p.m.: An ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Beaver Brook Drive. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

 

Wednesday, June 6

4:30 p.m.: An ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical emergency on Washington Street. A Bellingham resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

5:39 p.m.: An ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Concord Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. 

6:14 p.m.: The backup ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Charles Street. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center. 

11:08 P.M.: An ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Maple Dell Lane. The individual refused transport and a signed waiver was obtained.

 

Thursday, June 7 

6:45 a.m.: Chief Cassidy investigated a water problem on High Rock Road.

7:18 a.m.: Chief Cassidy and An ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Prospect Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

12:16 a.m.: An ambulance responded to a medical alert on Prospect Street. An ambulance was cancelled on scene. 

4:50 p.m.: Chief Cassidy investigated an alarm activation on Highland Street. 

9:52 p.m.: Chief Michael Cassidy, Rescue 1, Engine 3, the primary ambulance and the backup ambulance responded to a motor vehicle crash on Washington Street.  The Rescue personnel used the Jaws-of-Life to extricate the driver of one of the vehicles.  Two drivers were transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
