Food Pantry Seeks Student Participation

Oct. 31 is the deadline to apply for interested high schoolers

The Holliston Pantry Shelf is seeking applications from Holliston High School juniors to fill two open board positions.  The chosen candidates will serve in an integral yet non-voting capacity through their senior year, and will witness the inner workings of this successful not–for–profit organization.

Student responsibilities include attending monthly board meetings, participating in appropriate fund-raising activities, assembling Christmas dinner baskets, participating in special food collections, assisting in the pantry, and organizing student volunteers.

Interested candidates should forward their name and contact information to Joanne Apesos at 50 Foxwood Cove.  They should include a teacher/employer reference (with phone number), and information pertaining to prior volunteer work, reasons why they are interested in this position, and qualities possessed that would be beneficial to the board.

Applications are due by Oct. 31.

Questions should be addressed to Joanne Apesos at Apesos2002@yahoo.com.
