Former Holliston Resident Dead at 86.

Dorothy Beck had lived in New Mexico for over 30 years.

The following was submitted by the Beck Family.

Dorothy L. (Taylor, Longton) Beck, 86, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Died on Monday, September 3. Born to Horace and Lillian Taylor, she was born, raised and lived for many years in Holliston before moving to Las Cruces where she resided for over three decades. She leaves a legacy of nine children, including Janet Skaggs, David and Peter from her first husband Arthur Longton (deceased), step-children Kathleen Adams, Cynthia Rattigan, Laureen Smith Mckinzie (deceased), Lawrence, and Karen Feldeisen from her second husband Lawrence Beck (deceased), and a son Edward Beck, she also leaves many grand-children and great-grandchildren. Dottie was a dedicated homemaker for most of her life. She was also a crafter with the Las Cruces Farmers’ Market for many years until failing health forced her to retire her knitting needles. Square dancing was a passion; she tried her hand at bowling; but mostly loved to do her crafts.
