Fourth Annual 'A Taste of Holliston' Set For April 10

The highly-anticipated spring event, which will feature over 20 area establishments, runs from 1—4 p.m. at the Holliston Historical Society.

 

A Taste of Holliston has become a much-anticipated spring event at the Holliston Historical Society and will take place on Sunday, April 10 from 1—4 p.m. Over 20 Holliston-area establishments — caterers, restaurants and wine purveyors — will offer tastings from their menus in the Asa Whiting House and barn.

Participating establishments will give attendees tastings of a variety of culinary items and beverages such as specialty cheeses, wines and beers, Italian pasta, pizza, Chinese appetizers, grapenut and custard puddings, gourmet chocolates, a variety of sandwiches, lobster bisque, asiago chicken baguettes, Italian pasta,  soups, bakery items and more.

The participants to date include Arcadian Farms, Bella Costa, Bertucci’s, C&R Hot Dogs, Candy Cottage, Central Café, Depot Package Store, Gaetano’s Bakery, Holliston Grill, Jing’s Garden, Nello’s Café, Out Post Farm, Pejamajo Café, Sherborn Inn, Superette, Thai Pepper and The Wine House.

This was a sold-out event last year and the Historical Society expects the same this year. Tickets are $10 with advance purchase and there is no charge for children under age 5.

Download a ticket application form, which must be postmarked by April 1, at www.hollistonhistoricalsociety.org or purchase tickets at Coffee Haven, Depot Package Store or Fiske’s General Store. A limited number of tickets might be available at the door for $15.
