HCAT Airing Miller, Adams School 'Moving Up' Ceremonies

The two ceremonies honor those students who will be ascending to the Adams and High schools, respectively, next year.

Now showing on Comcast Channel 8 and Verizon Channel 32:

  • Fred W. Miller Elementary School "Moving Up" Ceremony — This program highlights the fifth graders, who will heading to the Middle School next year. In addition to presentations from the fifth graders, the band played several numbers and retiring teachers and faculty members were honored. There was also the yearly slide show.

    The program airs at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, at 2:30 and 6 p.m. on Sunday, at 4 p.m. on Monday and 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
  • Robert Adams Middle School "Moving Up" Ceremony — This program highlights the eighth graders, who will heading to the High School next year. In addition to speeches from eighth graders , awards were handed out to deserving students.

    The program airs at 9 p.m. on Saturday, at 1 p.m. on Sunday, at 2 p.m. on Monday and 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

Both of these programs are now available via streaming video on demand.

HCAT is pleased to offer streaming video on demand so viewers can watch all the great programming on Holliston Cable Access Television right from any computer.

Several shows are now available and more will be added daily. The hosting site shows the last 10 programs loaded as thumbnails on two pages.  If viewers don't see their favorite show, they can click on the "All Folders" dropdown box under the logo to see the folder names of HCAT's programs.

Viewers can pick their program of interest and all the available episodes will be listed. When viewers are ready to go back to the HCAT Web site, they can click anywhere on the heading and will be taken back to www.hcattv.org.

If viewers have a specific show you would like to see again, let HCAT know. HCAT can reschedule it on the air and/or make it available via on demand. 

Keep checking Comcast Channel 8 and Verizon Channel 32 for all of HCAT's program schedules. Comcast Channel 8 and Verizon 33 run notices from schools, groups and organizations and church, along with School Committee meetings.

Comcast Channel 11 and Verizon Channel 34 run notices from Town Hall, the Parks and Recreation Department and the Senior Center.

The fifth grade moving up ceremony this year was terrific! Presentations, music, slide show and speeches were so nice!
