Holliston and Hopkinton Patches Join Forces Thursday

You are cordially invited to the marriage of two Patches.

As you read last week, Holliston Patch will merge with Hopkinton Patch this Thursday, June 28.know what to expect so you can continue to get the most out of Patch.

There will be no interruption in either Holliston or Hopkinton coverage. Holliston-Hopkinton Patch will include comprehensive news, information and conversation for both towns. We're simply harnessing our resources to more effectively cover these neighboring communities.

1) Sean O'Donnell, currently editor of Hopkinton Patch, will lead Holliston-Hopkinton Patch. News tips concerning both towns should be sent to him at sean.odonnell@patch.com.

2) Justin Saglio, currently editor of Holliston Patch, is becoming editor of our sister site, Natick Patch. Justin's never too far, though—so don't be surprised to see some of his photos in your area!

3) There will be a new URL for Holliston-Hopkinton Patch (it will be live Thursday), but you will still be able to get to the site as you do now, by typing in either holliston.patch.com or hopkinton.patch.com.

4) If you're a blogger or contributor in Holliston or Hopkinton, your blogs and contributions will still exist on Holliston-Hopkinton Patch..but now you'll have an even larger audience!

5) If you're a business owner, don't worry: your directory and event listings carry over to the new site, and they're still free! The same goes for information and photos about all the local spots you know and love: Hopkinton State Park...the Marathon start line...the Milford Upper Charles Trail...

Holliston and Hopkinton are two communities, and their individuality will not be overlooked with the launch of Holliston-Hopkinton Patch. We are committed to covering both towns equally and we're excited about being able to provide better coverage of the things that matter to residents of both communities!
