Holliston Police Log: Men Arrested After Stabbing in Framingham

The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

 

Thursday, Nov. 29

9:32 a.m.: A motorist reported that a car had gone off the road on Highland Street near Hollis Street. Officers responded but were unable to locate the vehicle.

10:35 a.m.: A caller reported that he had found a man hunting on the conservation land on Adams Street. An officer checked the lot and found two vehicles. The caller was advised to contact the Conservation Commission .

1:57 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of an unattended death on Travis Road.

5:41 p.m.: Officers responded with the  Fire Chief to an alarm in a vacant house on Christopher Road.

Friday, Nov. 30

12:07 a.m.: A caller from Casey’s Crossing reported an unwanted male hanging around the business.

7:01 a.m.: A caller from Underwood Street reported that a white van had hit and damaged a stone wall on their property. An officer was able to stop the vehicle and cited the operator for leaving the scene of a crash.

4:07 p.m.: An employee of the Holliston Water Department reported threats made at him over the phone.

3:08 p.m.: An officer investigates screws that were found in a driveway on Prospect Street.

5:26 p.m.: An officer took a report of water running from a house on Noel Drive. The water department was notified and turned off the water to the house.

7:09 p.m.: A caller from High Street reported that a hooded man with a bag rang her doorbell then left. An officer responded and spoke with the man who was a Verizon solicitor.

Saturday, Dec. 1

12:48 a.m.: While checking for any suspicious activity at Holliston High School , an officer observed that the lights had been left on at the football field concession stand.

3:16 a.m.: Officers stopped a vehicle on Norfolk Street that the Framingham Police Department was looking for. Randy Lopes, 28, of 233 N. Main St., Woonsocket, RI was arrested by the Holliston Police Department on warrant charges. The Framingham Police Department also responded to the stop and arrested two men who had allegedly stabbed a woman in their town.

11:25 a.m.: A caller reported a past incident of assault and battery. An officer spoke to the people involved and advised them to seek their complaints at Framingham District Court.

7:40 a.m.: A caller reported that the keys to Mira Upholstery had been left in the business’s door. An officer responded and retrieved the keys.

9:16 p.m.: A caller reported that a male had threatened him and another person multiple times. Officer’s checked the male’s house but he was not home.

Sunday, Dec. 2

1:01 a.m.: Officers spoke to a group of people who were on four wheelers near Hopping Brook Road. The officer advised them of the trespassing regulations.

1:43 a.m.: An officer spoke with partygoers on Turner Road and advised them to turn the music down.

2:32 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle near Scooby Truck Sales on Washington Street. Holliston Police are seeking a summons to charge the driver with unlicensed operation and operating without proper lighting.

8:51 a.m.: An officer trained with the new K9 unit on Summer Street.

1:01 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Washington Street. Police are seeking a summons to charge the operator with unlicensed operation and violating crosswalk laws.

2:58 p.m.: An officer found a gate and several doors unsecured at Lista International on Lowland Street. The officer did not encounter any employees and locked the facility.
