Holliston Police Log: Stolen Mitt Romney Sign, Dog Bite
The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.
Monday, Oct. 22
12:30 a.m.: An officer checked the area around Woods Crossing in darkness. No movement was observed.
11:50 a.m.: An officer performed crosswalk enforcement downtown. No vehicles were stopped.
2:50 p.m.: A caller reported a youth that was jumping in to traffic on Woodland Street.
5:28 p.m.: The Animal Control officer investigated a dog bite that occurred on Prospect Street.
7:36 p.m.: A caller from Arch Street reported that it appeared as if someone was in a vacant house across the street. An officer responded and noted that the house appeared to have people living in it. An officer contacted the previous owner who was still in the process of moving out.
7:49 p.m.: An alarm was activated at Sovereign Bank when an incorrect passcode was entered. An officer walked the building with the bank manager and confirmed that nothing had been tampered with.
10:57 p.m.: A woman called and reported that her boyfriend had dropped her off in town and she was unsure of her whereabouts. Officers responded to Concord Street once her location was determined and arrested the caller: Catherine A. Intinarelli, 43, of 32 West St., Milford. Intinarelli was arrested on a fugitive from justice court warrant.
Tuesday, Oct. 23
3:29 a.m.: An officer noticed a garage door had been left open and the interior lights of a vehicle were activated on Hollis Street. The officer spoke to the homeowner.
7:25 a.m.: A caller from Winter Street requested extra speed checks in the area during the morning.
10:11 a.m.: A caller reported a utility pole had been knocked down in a commercial parking lot on Lowland Street.
11:24 a.m.: A resident of Washington Street called 911 for a non-emergency reason. The caller was unable to remember their reason for calling. An officer responded and confirmed that there was no emergency.
12:45 a.m.: A caller from Mill Street reported that her Mitt Romney / Paul Ryan political sign had gone missing from her yard overnight.
7:24 p.m.: Officers from the Holliston Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash on Summer Street. One vehicle was towed; two people were transported to the hospital.
