Hopkinton Loses Charlotte Marquedant

Grandmother to 11 succumbed to pancreatic cancer.

 

Charlotte Marquedant, 74, died July 26. Born in Gardner, she worked as administrative assistant at Data General Intrinix and St. Cecilia Church in Ashland.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joseph, 5 children and 11 grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, July 29, 4-7 p.m. at Chesmore Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be said Monday, July 30, at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist, with burial to follow at Mt. Auburn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlotte’s name can be directed to Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer, 1111 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY 11714 or Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, 10 Judith Way, Worcester, MA 0160. Special thanks for care given by the staff at Cancer Care Unit, 9th Floor at Massachusetts General Hospital and to the staff at Rose Monahan Hospice Home.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Charlotte was always very nice to me and my children and we will always think fondly of her. My condolences to her family and friends.
