Hopkinton Police Log: Man Arrested After Harassing Texts
The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.
Tuesday, Dec. 4
10:00 a.m.: A caller from Oakhurst Road reported that several mailboxes in the neighborhood had been run over.
3:29 p.m.: A bus driver reported they saw two youths climbing in a window on Hayden Rowe Street. The youth was the homeowner’s son.
4:05 p.m.: Several callers reported a loud explosion on Lumber Street. An officer responded with the Hopkinton Fire Department and checked on people who were blasting in the area.
9:14 p.m.: Marco A. Saez Jr., 31, of 147 Wood St., was arrested after a motor vehicle stop. Saez had warrants out stemming from a previous motor vehicle incident.
Wednesday, Dec. 5
12:29 a.m.: A resident went in to the Hopkinton Police Department to report being threatened over text messages. A harassment protection order was served to the text-sender in Maynard.
7:58 a.m.: A caller from Cedar Street reported the odor of natural gas in their store. The fire department responded and checked the building.
8:57 a.m.: Barry B. Maclean, 38, of 2 Elm St., Maynard was arrested after violating a harassment prevention order.
9:45 a.m.: An officer investigated a two-car crash on East Main Street. No injuries were reported.
12:33 p.m.: A person went in to the station to report harassment from a former customer.
2:52 p.m.: An officer contacted a resident of Fruit Street after a suspicious man was reported in the area. The Fruit Street resident said the man was looking for kitty litter. Officers were unable to locate the suspicious male.
9:07 p.m.: A caller from First Road reported that her daughter had run away. The girl returned after a few hours.
