Hopkinton Police Log: One Arrest, Shoplifting at Price Chopper

Wednesday, Feb. 6
12:02 a.m.: An officer checked a vehicle on South Street while assisting the Milford Police Department regarding an incident in their town. The vehicle was not related.
7:07 a.m.: An officer responded to a car crash on Granite Street. No injuries were reported.
11:17 a.m.: An officer assisted the fire department with an odor check on West Main Street.
4:09 a.m.: An officer assisted the Hopkinton Fire Department with a small fire started by a heater on Daniel Shays Road.
10:20 p.m.: A caller from Hayward Street reported a screeching animal in the area. Officers checked the area but did not hear any sounds.
Thursday, Feb. 7
12:52 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on West Main Street and arrested Amanda J, Sullivan, 21, of 386 Howard St., Apt. Q, Northborough. Sullivan was charged with operating with a suspended license.
2:44 a.m.: An officer checked a house on Huckleberry Road after the homeowner reported an alarm activation.
9:05 a.m.: A member of the Hopkinton Police Department spoke with a person regarding a suspicious incident that occurred on Lumber Street on Feb. 1.
9:11 a.m.: An officer assisted with two crashed on West Main Street. No injuries were reported in either.
9:17 a.m.: An officer responded to Price Chopper for a report of shoplifting.
1:22 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a break-in on College Street. Officers responded and took a report.
2:27 p.m.: A car crashed in to a telephone pole on West Main Street.
3:38 p.m.: An officer transported a prisoner from the Grafton Police Department to the Upton Police Department.
8:41 p.m.: A car went off the road on West Main Street.
10:31 p.m.: A caller from Ash Street reported loud music nearby. An officer spoke with the person who was playing the drums.
