Hopkinton Police Log: Sick Fox, Graffiti at Town Hall

Monday, Feb. 4
6:40 a.m.: An officer issued a civil citation for operating construction equipment outside of approved hours at Legacy Farms.
8:12 a.m.: An officer took a report of graffiti at Hopkinton Town Hall.
12:00 p.m.: A caller from Marshall Avenue reported a sick fox in the area. The Animal Control Officer was notified and assisted.
1:44 a.m.: The Animal Control Officer responded to two small dogs running in traffic on West Main Street.
2:37 p.m.: An officer from the Hopkinton Police Department spoke with a person who was acting suspicious at a business on West Main Street.
Tuesday, Feb. 5
12:42 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on West Main Street and arrested Matthew F. Bardellini, 27, of 61 Winter St. Bardellini was charged with speeding and drunken-driving.
8:09 a.m.: An officer spoke to an ice fisherman at Hopkinton State Park.
1:14 p.m.: A caller reported several vehicles parked on the side of Cedar Street that were potentially a hazard. An officer checked the areas but the vehicles were off the road.
1:21 p.m.: A resident of Kimball Road reported a stolen FedEx package.
8:14 p.m.: A caller from Daniel Shays Road reported a suspicious person that parked a car in front of their house and then walked down the road. An officer responded and spoke with everyone involved.
10:09 p.m.: A person approached an officer near Price Chopper and informed the officer they did not want contact with a group of people that had entered the store.
10:31 p.m.: The Department of Public Works reported a heated argument in a car on Meadowland Drive. An officer responded and spoke to the people who were having a verbal argument.
