Wednesday, Nov. 7

7:35 a.m.: An officer stood by while a disabled motorist waited for AAA on West Main Street.

1:52 p.m.: An officer responded to a car crash on Elm Street. No injuries were reported.

2:16 p.m.: A caller from Chestnut Street reported an old, dark pick up truck that had been in the area intermittently. An officer responded and spoke to the vehicle operator who was working for the gas company.

3:18 p.m.: An officer responded to a report of a motor vehicle off the road on Maple Street. The officer observed that the vehicle had destroyed a street sign. No injuries were reported in the crash.

6:53 p.m.: A caller from Old Farm Road reported a suspicious vehicle in the area. An officer was unable to locate the vehicle.

8:53 p.m.: An off duty firefighter reported a vehicle off the road on Main Street. An officer responded and observed tire tracks in the snow but no vehicle.

8:50 p.m.: An officer found a car vs. tree crash on West Main Street. The vehicle was towed but no injuries were reported.

9:00 p.m.: An officer assisted two stuck vehicles on Cedar Street. A passerby was able to put down some sand so the vehicles could get traction.

9:20 p.m.: A caller reported that a vehicle went off the road on South Street and hit a boulder. A tow truck was called for the vehicle.

10:08 p.m.: A caller reported a crash on East Main Street. No injures were reported. A tow was needed to pull one car on to the road.

10:45 p.m.: A caller reported a vehicle off of the road on Pond Street. The tow company was called for the vehicle.

Thursday, Nov. 8

8:44 a.m.: A caller from Lumber Street reported that a vehicle had struck their mailbox overnight.

11:20 a.m.: A caller from Hillcrest Drive reported that their mailbox had been damaged overnight. An officer responded and determined that the mailbox was knocked over by the wind.

3:07 p.m.: A 911 caller reported they swerved to avoid a deer on Front Street. The vehicle went off the roadway and a tow was needed for the vehicle.

4:24 p.m.: A 911 caller reported that they stuck a deer on West Main Street. An officer responded and spoke to the operator but was unable to locate the deer.

10:15 p.m.: Multiple callers reported a crash on Wood Street. Peter J. Lamachia, 49, of 17 Fruit Street was arrested for marked lanes violation and second offense drunken-driving.

Friday, Nov. 9

12:36 p.m.: A caller reported vandalism to the trailhead sign on Frankland Road. An officer responded and took a report.

4:41 p.m.: An officer assisted the Upton Police Department on Pond Street with recovering a safe that was involved in an incident in their town.

5:01 p.m.: A caller from Lakeshore Drive reported that a suspicious person got out of one vehicle and in to another. The vehicle in question was gone when an officer responded.

8:26 p.m.: A caller from Hayward Drive reported a barking dog complaint. The dog had quieted down when an officer responded.

8:51 p.m.: A person walked in to the Hopkinton Police Department to report that he had been cut off by a vehicle on Hayden Rowe Street.

9:10 p.m.: A caller from Walcott Valley Drive reported being woken up by a loud knocking. An officer checked the area but nothing suspicious was found.

Saturday, Nov. 10

8:56 a.m.: A resident reported overnight vandalism to mailboxes on Connelly Hill Road.

Sunday, Nov. 11

10:13 a.m.: A caller reported that they backed in to another vehicle in front of the church on Church Street.

3:18 p.m.: A caller reported that a suspicious vehicle had been parked in his driveway while he was away.  An officer responded and checked the vehicle which belonged to a neighbor.
