Hopkinton Police Log: Toaster vs. Mailbox, Assist Southborough PD
The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.
Monday, Aug. 6
2:00 a.m.: Officers from the Hopkinton Police Department helped set up a perimeter while a k9 searched an area in Southborough for a breaking and entering suspect.
10:59 a.m.: Officers checked a vehicle on Avenue E. The caller from A123 Systems was concerned that the suspicious vehicle was related to a bomb threat.
8:40 p.m.: An officer assisted a caller from Eastview Road who had a bat in her room.
10:23 p.m.: A caller from Teresa Road reported that someone threw a toaster at their mailbox. An officer responded and checked the area.
Tuesday, Aug. 7
8:18 a.m.: An officer spoke to a vehicle operator who was tacking messages on mailboxes.
9:13 a.m.: An officer assisted after a car crash on West Main Street. No injuries were reported.
8:14 p.m.: A caller from Gina Road reported a suspicious black vehicle with males in it driving around the neighborhood slowly. An officer checked the area but could not find the vehicle.
