LETTER: Spring Greyhound Open House a Success

Louise Coleman, founder of Greyhound Friends Inc. thanks everyone who helped me the annual event happen.

Submitted by Louise Coleman of Greyhound Friends

I would like to thank the entire community for making this year’s Greyhound Friends Spring Open House & Reunion a huge success. The event was well attended throughout the weekend and held under beautiful blue skies.

Attendees visited with graceful greyhounds waiting to be adopted into permanent homes while touring our spacious kennel. A silent auction and raffle was also held and our Not Quite Westminster Dog Show was enjoyed by all.

Special thanks to those who donated food, materials and money to benefit greyhounds in our care. Greyhound Friends is a small non-profit organization dedicated to saving racetrack greyhounds and placing them in responsible loving homes and we rely largely on donations from our community.

Thanks once again to all who made the event a great one and we look forward to seeing you on June 30th when Greyhound Friends hosts the 6th Annual International Greyhound Welfare Conference.

Sincerely,

Louise Coleman
