Man Urinating in Parking Lot Spoken to by Officer
The following information was supplied by the Hopkinton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Friday, March 1
9:31 a.m.: A caller from Davis Road reported that one of the residents returned home to find their apartment had been broken into and items were missing.
Saturday, March 2
4:00 p.m.: An officer from the Hopkinton Police Department checked the West Main Street area for a vehicle that had been involved in larceny in Upton.
5:11 p.m.: An officer spoke with a person who was urinating in the rear lot of a business on West Main Street.
Sunday, March 3
1:49 a.m.: A caller from Walcott Valley Drive reported that he took his dog out for a walk and heard footsteps near the woods. An officer checked the area and determined that the noise was probably an animal.
8:43 a.m.: A caller from Curtis Road reported that work was being done on a house on Legacy Farms in violation of town bylaws. An officer responded and reported that work was being done inside the house and therefore was not in violation. The workers were however running a generator outside which was a violation and they were informed of this.
12:47 p.m.: Animal Control was called after a squirrel fell down a resident’s chimney on Ash Street.
Monday, March 4
12:58 p.m.: A caller from East Main Street reported that her stepdaughter had gone missing earlier.
4:26 p.m.: An officer found two disabled vehicles on West Main Street. Both vehicles had flat tires.
4:49 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on East Main Street and arrested Richard Contreras, 20, of 11 Meadowland Dr. Contreras was charged with possession of alcohol by a person under 21 and operating with a suspended license.
