Police Log: Fleeing a Hospital, Loose Pitbull

The following information was supplied by the Hopkinton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Tuesday, Feb. 13

11:32 a.m.: An officer responded to a disabled motor vehicle with a flat tire on West Main Street. The vehicle operator had help from a dealer coming to assist with the tire change.

1:17 p.m.: An officer removed some barrels from the roadway on West Main Street.

3:51 p.m.: A caller reported a disabled motor vehicle on Cedar Street. An officer responded and stood by while AAA arrived to help the driver.

5:15 p.m.: A person walked in to the police station to report a suspicious situation regarding a motor vehicle.

5:39 p.m.: An officer assisted at the scene of a car crash on Main Street. No injuries were reported.

6:29 p.m.: A caller reported a vehicle being driven erratically on Wood Street. The Westborough Police Department was notified when the vehicle entered their town.

8:50 p.m.: An officer responded to a vehicle on West Main Street. The officer gave the operator a ride to and from the gas station to pick up fuel because they had run out.

9:14 p.m.: An officer checked a vehicle on Hayden Rowe Street and found it to be secure.

9:54 p.m.: An officer found a person with a disabled motor vehicle on Hayden Rowe Street. The officer helped the driver move the car out of the roadway while assistance was on the way.

Wednesday, Feb. 14

1:11 a.m.: An officer checked a tractor-trailer on West Main Street near the highway.

1:41 a.m.: An officer checked an unoccupied vehicle on at EMC Park on Hayden Rowe Street.

8:09 a.m.: A 911 caller reported a pitbull was loose in the backyard of their Knoll Road house. Animal Control was notified.

9:06 a.m.: An officer checked a vehicle on South Street and waited while the license plate number was run.

3:02 p.m.: An officer checked for a person who left a Framingham hospital with an IV in his arm. The person was told not to leave but did anyway. Officers were unable to locate the person.

4:06 p.m.: A caller reported a dark-colored Nissan Altima all over the road on East Main Street and then Hayden Rowe Street. Officers checked the area to the town line but were unable to find the vehicle.

4:46 p.m.: An officer responded to a report of a disabled motor vehicle on Cedar Street but did not find the vehicle.

6:31 p.m.: While working a detail on South Street an officer was told about smoke coming out of the building at 228 South St. The Fire Department responded.

7:26 p.m.: A caller reported hitting a deer on Clinton Street. When an officer responded the deer was already dead. Animal Control was notified to remove the carcass.
