Police Log: Gone Fishing, Mystery Gunshots

The following information was supplied by the Hopkinton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Tuesday, May 15

10:07 a.m.:  An officer from the Hopkinton Police Department checked what appeared to be a disabled motor vehicle on West Elm Street. After speaking to the vehicle owner’s wife the officer learned that the vehicle owner was fishing.

1:01 p.m.: A caller reported the sound of gunshots near Fruit Street.

2:04 p.m.: An officer assisted with a disabled motor vehicle on East Main Street.

7:19 p.m.: An officer assisted the Bellingham police department with an investigation.

9:06 p.m.: An officer pulled up to an apparent disabled motor vehicle on Cedar Street the same time a tow truck did.
