Police Log: Overturned Canoe, Multiple Car Crashes

Thursday, May 10
9:19 a.m.: An officer from the Hopkinton Police Department responded to a two-car crash on Wood Street. No injuries were reported.
11:08 a.m.: An officer inspected a car seat at the station.
11:13 a.m.: An officer picked up a booster seat on Tammer Lane.
11:19 a.m.: A resident of Downey Street reported a large limb on a wire. An officer confirmed it was there and contacted Verizon.
11:41 a.m.: A caller reported a suspicions vehicle going door to door on West Elm Street. An officer spoke with the river and it was all set.
2:07 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a 2-car crash on West Main Street. Both vehicles were moved in to a parking lot before an officer arrived.
3:08 p.m.: A caller reported a crash on Main Street.
3:33 p.m.: A 911 caller reported an overturned canoe on the reservoir at the State Park. An officer reported that the people in the canoe were able to swim to shore.
5:56 p.m.: A 911 caller reported that she had a kitchen fire but it was put out. An officer responded with the Hopkinton Fire Department.
6:07 p.m.: An officer discovered a large sinkhole on Front Street that needed to be filled in by the construction company. The officer placed cones around it.
9:25 p.m.: A caller reported that a neighbor might have just seen a person violating a harassment prevention order. Officers checked the house on Hillcrest drive and reported that nobody was home.
