Police Log: Unlicensed Operation Arrest, Trespassing at Andrews School

Thursday, June 7
5:36 a.m.: Luan Sardinha Ribeiro, 23, of 210 Pond St., was arrested after a motor vehicle stop. Ribeiro is charged with: unlicensed operation, speeding and failure to wear a seatbelt.
7:54 a.m.: A person from Courtland Street called to report that his mailbox had vandalized while he was away. The caller said he believed it was done by youths and requested an increased police presence in the area.
10:28 a.m.: A caller from South Street reported a sick fox. A second call was made for the fox at 11:08. The fox was dispatched.
3:22 p.m.: A caller reported youths breaking in to the Andrews School for the third day in a row. Officers located three boys and identified a fourth. Officers were unable to contact the boys’ parents at the time.
5:09 p.m.: Officers responded to a car crash at the intersection of Washington Street and Locust Street.
9:49 p.m.: Several callers reported a car crash at the intersection of Washington Street and Prospect Street. Two people were transported to the hospital and two vehicles were towed. There was recorded property damage because of the crash on Washington Street.
