Police Log: Truck Knocks Down Wires

Wednesday, Feb. 1
1:12 a.m.: Police stopped a vehicle with a driver who was summonsed to court for unlicensed operation. The vehicle's owner was summonsed for allowing an unlicensed driver to operate his vehicle.
5:11 a.m.: A Westfield Drive resident reported hearing a dog bark for the past 30 minutes. Police checked area, but didn't hear a dog.
4:26 p.m.: A Hopkinton resident reported seeing a tractor trailer take down several Verizon lines while traveling toward Holliston. Police moved the wire to the side of the road and alerted Hopkinton police.
