This may may be a great football player but look what he was doing. He's sorry because he got caught. Those dogs were forced to fight to their death while Mr Vick looked on and cheered. How a human could do that to man's best friend is beyond me. He should never be able to have any type of animal ever!

Should a child molester, who has done his time in prison and spoken out against child molesting, be given a foster child???? I don't think so. Someone who was killing animals with their bare hands and using them in bloody, brutal fighting, should ever be able to own another animal. I don't care how "convincing" he sounds. This is sociopathic behavior and we should not be using another innocent animal to "test" whether or not he has really changed. Some behaviors don't deserve a second chance.

He should not. He could have shown that he had learned about right, wrong, and dogs by volunteering for them. He chose not to. What would happen to this pet dog if Vick had a bad day? He killed his fighting pits on a good day. Maybe when his children are older and he tells them what he did, they can consider a pet.

No way! What he did to dogs was horrible. I agree with Cindy! I adopted a Shiz Tzu that was abused and make me made I think of what he indured.

Of course not...arrogant and has no conscience obviously. How can he have a dog as a pet in his home and know how he treated them in the past..before he was caught. Sadly, his young children will know what he did.
