For those of you looking to drive on the roads today be sure to drive slow and be aware of your surroundings.

Even the most trained of drivers in the Massachusetts State Police are vulnerable during major storms.

According to scanner reports, one of the many crashes along Route 495 involved a Massachusetts State Police officer.

The crash occurred on the northbound side of the highway prior to exit 21. It is unclear whether or not any other vehicles were involved.

Scanner reports say no injuries were reported and the cruiser was off the road and into a snow bank.
