At Patch we love to be social, dinner in town is social, coffee in the morning is social, even sitting in the library typing this can be a social experience with the librarians and other patrons.

In honor of all things social we want to take this time to talk about social media; one of the ways that we communicate.

If you didn’t know yet, we’re on Facebook with 228 likes and on Twitter we broke the 200 mark and have 205followers. If you haven’t already, give us a like or follow us to stay up to date on some things that may not make it on to the site.

This week or Facebook Page really blew up after we posted our Saturday poll: "Would you still take a cruise?" We also got a lot of positive feedback from our coverage of how the economy affected one local family.

Social media page of the week. At Patch we want to make sure every part of the community gets covered, that's why we picked the Hopkinton Boosters for our Facebook Page of the week. The boosters are promoting their upcoming fundraiser. The boosters have 122 likes, so let's help that number grow and help the boosters make a bigger impact for high school athletes.
