UPDATE: Police Search for Break-in Suspect

Two homes in Holliston were broken in to last week on, one of the break-ins was stopped before anything was stolen.

Holliston Police have released more information regarding last week's breaking and entering incidents on Ashland Street.

According to Chief John Moore, a burglar broke in to two houses, stealing from one and getting discovered before stealing in another house.

Moore said a 14-year-old boy was home when he heard his dog barking downstairs and went to see what was going on. At that point the boy saw the man inside and when questioned the man said he was supposed to be cleaning a house nearby and was confused.

"It's obvious that he wasn't supposed to be in that house," Moore said.

According to a report the items stolen from the other house include cash, jewelry, medication and a replica BB gun.

"Although the replica gun isn't worth much, it concerns us when someone takes a gun," Moore said.

The boy was able to provide a description of the man, although no arrests have been made.
