The Vin Bin, Hopkinton's newest wine and malt beverage store, will be opening in Hopkinton Square at the end of the month.

The owners announced the Jan. 30 opening on their website yesterday, once the store opening the retail section of the Hopkinton Square development will be nearly complete.

Owner Rick Lombardi appeared before the Board of Selectmen in September, to announce the plans for the business's second location.

"We wouldn't be selling cigarettes and lottery tickets like a normal package store," Lombardi told the Selectmen. "We also won't have the neon signs that you often see in the windows."

The Vin Bin opened in Marlborough in August 2011 and was selected as the best liquor store in town earlier this year .
