You Should Change Your LinkedIn Password Right Now
Hackers breached LinkedIn and stole more than 6 million passwords this week.
More than 6 million account passwords were stolen from LinkedIn and posted on a message forum in Russia, according to WCVB.com.
Hackers apparently took the passwords and posted millions on a message board, which was linked back to the popular networking site LinkedIn.
Security professionals investigating the incident have urged users to change their passwords for the site, which will likely keep your privacy.
What can you learn from this? Every few months, it is a good idea to change your password on accounts you use online. Also, don't use the same password for more than one site. Also, adding numbers and symbols in addition to letters that are random is another tip to ward off your accounts being hacked.
