Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

About this column:

Do you have a great idea for next week's Where in Holliston-Hopkinton? Email sean.odonnell@patch.com and maybe your idea will get used.
If you want to get a haircut in Hopkinton or Holliston there are plenty of barbershops and salons. But this chair, for bald headed men, can only be found in one place between the two towns. This collection of barbershop trinkets is for sale for those of you that know where to look. Do you have an idea where it might be? Tell us in the comments section below.
Have you seen this royal plate before? It's displayed somewhere in Hopkinton and features a picture of Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton. The two were married in April 2011, a cermony that was watched around the world. Leave a comment if you know where you can view this plate, if there are no correct guesses by Wednesday, we'll add a hint to our Facebook page.  Follow Hopkinton Patch on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date on the latest Hopkinton news, or simply hit the "like" button at the top of this page. It's Wednesday, and that means another installment of where in Hopkinton. This week's photo comes a couple weeks after Holliston Patch Editor Justin Saglio did something similar on his site, featuring one letter from a bigger sign. Congratulations to Deborah Kelly for correctly identifying the last where in Hopkinton picture taken at the entrance to Hopkinton State Park. With the launch of Holliston-Hopkinton Patch tomorrow we're trying to figure out where to take this feature going forward. Would you rather see separate Hopkinton and Holliston features, or do you think it would be more fun …
Hopkinton might be must known for the start of the Boston Marathon, but that doesn't mean it isn't a great place for animals to enjoy the outdoors. Just make sure your pet isn't running free at the location where this picture was taken.  Do you recognize this sign? Leave a comment and tell us where you would find it! Last week we had a picture of the old steam roller outside of the Highway Department on Wood Street. Amy Ritterbusch was the first to guess correctly last week so congratulations to her!
It looks like this piece of equipment hasn't moved in decades, and that could be true. With grass growing on and around it, rusted wheels and a cast iron body who would want to move it? Tell us if you've seen this behemoth hanging out around town. The correct answer will be announced on Friday when we'll do a story about the history of the machine. Last week's statue of Abraham Lincoln was located in the Library. The bookend pictured is part of a pair sitting in the young adult portion of the library.  Juli Hayes was the first on to guess correctly. Her guess showed up on our Facebook page …
In the most presidential fashion, Abraham Lincoln sits encased in bronze in this Hopkinton locale. You may have seen the original statue dedicated to Lincoln sitting inside his memorial in Washington D.C. but this one is much closer to home and much, much smaller. Have you seen this statue before? Where do you think it is? Last week we asked you to identify the building located next to Golden Pond.  Judi Krattenmaker was the first to place the building, Mary Harrington was able to share with Patch readers that the building that is recognized to many as the ice skating house was actually the …
At Patch things are always changing, and today we wanted to try something new in Hopkinton.  Each week we will be taking a picture from a different location around town, some weeks it may be something few will recognize, other weeks it could be something most residents probably drive by every day. With this being the first week we thought we would start out with something simple. Share your ideas for where this picture was taken in the comments and let us know what you think of the new idea.
