Sam Placentino Elementary sits between Fred W. Miller Elementary School and Robert H.  Adams Middle School on Woodland Street and houses Kindergarten - grade 2. Placentino offers Traditional, Montessori and French Immersion programs. Indoors, the school features a cafeteria, a library, an infirmary and an indoor basketball court/gym, while outdoors there is a softball/Little League baseball field and a playground with swings, a 3-D tic-tac-toe grid, slides and a jungle gym. The principal is Linda Weene and the vice principal is Terry Stewart.
