DESCRIPTION:The primary activity of the Holliston Sportsmen's Association
  Junior Division is Junior Rifle Club. Each year from October to March y
 oungsters from age twelve to sixteen\, under very close adult supervisio
 n learn the fundamentals of firearm safety and marksmanship.\nEach seaso
 n starts with classroom teaching of the basic rules of firearm safety. A
 fter the rules are mastered\, youngsters move to the indoor range. The c
 lub supplies single shot bolt-action .22 caliber target rifles\, ammunit
 ion\, and targets.\nYoung shooters start by shooting from the prone posi
 tion at fifty feet. From here students move onto sitting\, kneeling and 
 standing positions.\nOther activities include brief introductions to 10 
 Meter Air Pistol\, trap shooting\, and archery.\n&nbsp\;\nTo learn more
