Doug Sent Me Green Cleaners is proud to announce these wonderful classes that will feed your soul! Classes will be conveniently held in downtown Holliston at 783 Washington St (Rte. 16), home of Doug Sent Me Green Cleaners and Brick House Realty. Classes are small. Knitting 101: Learning the Basics & Beyond will meet for four Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m. starting on Feb. 1. The cost is $75 per student.
This class is for students who have not knit previously. Students will learn casting on, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, binding off, stockinette stitch, ribbing, increasing, decreasing, pattern reading, and seaming. Students will begin (and complete!) a trendy pair of wristers! Students must supply worsted weight yarn in a smooth texture, No. 8 knitting needles 10" in length, yarn needle. Class lovingly taught by Becky Geer-Linnell.
Geer-Linnell has been an avid knitter and crocheter since childhood. She is so pleased to be sharing her love of the craft with others! Becky lives in Medway. She has a supportive husband and 3 wonderful stepchildren. Becky teaches full time, at the preschool and college levels. In her spare time, she loves to curl up with a good book and, of course, knit!
SIGN UP NOW! Classes are small so each person will have lots of attention! Limited financial aid is available to those who qualify.
