Halloween Food Drive to be Held in Holliston

Here are five things you need to know today.

1. This looks to be the last nice day for weather this whole week. So soak up the temperatures in the high 60's.

2.  Students from the Holliston High School National Honor Society will be collecting  food donations during the evening of Wednesday, October 30 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The annual event, which provides both food and paper goods for the Holliston Pantry Shelf, is taking place a day early this year. The students, dressed in costumes for Halloween, will go door-to-door in small groups throughout the neighborhoods in town. Items that are in particular need are paper towels, canned tuna/chicken, cereal, pasta and canned tomatoes. For those who know they will not be home during these hours, donations may be left outside the front door of homes.

3. If you can't participate in this food collection, donations can be dropped at the Pantry during working hours Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Wednesdays 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. or anytime in the black drop box outside the Pantry Shelf at 23 Water Street, Holliston.

4. In case you missed it... Home of the Week: 1820 "Treasure" in Holliston.

5. We also do a weekly roundup of all the arrests in Holliston and Hopkinton. See what is happening where in the area.
