“We are so proud of how hard our DAC students work year-round,” says DAC Co-Director Gregg Saulnier. “The tireless commitment from our ten YAGP participants is highly commendable, and we are excited to show off their high caliber of talent. Competing at the YAGP is an opportunity to exhibit the well-rounded and high level of dance instruction the Dancing Arts Center provides and a way to celebrate our talented students.”

All are welcome to a preview of the dancers’ performances on Saturday, February 1 at DAC from 2 – 3 p.m. A minimum $5 donation is requested to help defray the cost of competition expenses.

“The preview performance is a great opportunity for DAC dancers, and their families and friends, to support their fellow dancers and get a glimpse of what they have in store for this year’s YAGP. It’s also a great time for those interested in the Dancing Arts Center to see what it’s all about, especially since DAC is currently accepting new students,” Saulnier says.

The YAGP regional competition will be held February 7 – 9 at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Providence, Rhode Island.
