1. John Lawrence, Class of 2012 at the Rivers School, Received High Honors.

In honor of excellent academic performance, John Lawrence received high honors for the fall semester of 2012 at the Rivers School in Weston.

The Rivers School is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school for students in grades six through 12. The Rivers community is dedicated to its mission of “excellence with humanity” – rigorous, challenging programs in a caring community in which each student is known, understood, and valued. With 469 students from 70 Massachusetts towns, the school offers an intimate and dynamic classroom environment with a 6:1 student-teacher ratio and an average class size of 12 students. Rivers is a member of the Independent School League (ISL). 2. Many Hanukkah Happenings.

3. The Worcester Academy Will Hold an Admission Open House.

Worcester Academy, a private co-ed day-boarding school, will host an Admission Open House for its Middle School (Grades 6-12) and High School (Grades 9-12, and postgraduates) on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012.  The program begins at 1 p.m., with registration starting at 12:30.
