Hopkinton on Annual 'Best Communities in Massachusetts' List
The third annual list from GoLocalWorcester puts Hopkinton within the top 100 best communities in the state.
GoLocalWorcester this week announced its third annual Best Communities in Massachusetts List. The list, said GoLocal, was devised by mixing stats of affordability, economic condition, education, arts and culture, and safety.
Boston came in first in this year's list.
Hopkinton came in at number 57 on the list. "Today EMC, a data storage provider, has its world headquarters in town," wrote GoLocalWorcester. "The town is home to two state parks, Hopkinton State Park and Whitehall State Park, which are popular recreation areas."
With a population of 14,925, the median household income is $126,350, according to GoLocal's reports.
