Our weekly look at who is tweeting in and around Hopkinton.

Here's a look at some of the tweets that came from in and around Hopkinton this week. We always have a favorite. This week our favorite comes from Amy Ritterbusch on the absence of parking for parents when they've been invited to the school.

She says, "No parking for the MS Parent Coffee? Really? (@ Hopkinton Middle School) http://4sq.com/r4k4Oq"

@hopkintonnews shares a fact about a local book party, "Booksellers crash the party at local libraries http://bit.ly/pA694o"

This comes under the title, you know you are popular when...

@hopkintoncrier says, "Boston Marathon registration closed: Registration has closed for this April's Boston Marathon after two weeks,... http://bit.ly/pZAFno"

Every news group in the area had an article or two or three and a poll on the pep rally controversy. @hopkintoncrier said, "Hopkinton principal pulls plug on some pep rally rituals: Citing examples of past bullying, High School Princi... http://bit.ly/q1TzwH."

Looking for work?

There are several postings on Twitter like this one:

"HR Coordinator: Location(s) US - Massachusetts - Hopkinton Title HR Coordinator Requisition ID 772... http://bit.ly/qPGOmk #hotfreshjobs."

Sports are always fun to follow. @voleybalqueen says, "Girls volleyball front line holds off strong Milford team - Hopkinton ...: Hopkinton's #4 Kristen Cooprider serv... http://bit.ly/ooZiKZ24 Sepvia twitterfeed."

When I got inside it turned out the reason there was not enough parking was that there were so many parents at the Middle School Coffee, which is a good thing. (The elementary parent coffees I've been to usually only have a handful of parents.) Lesson learned. Next time I will arrive earlier or just walk from home. :)
