Support American Troops At the Holliston Fire Department

Drop items off at the Giving Back to Our Troops! box at the fire station.

The Holliston Fire Department is partnering with Sprint and UniFirst as a local collection point for their Giving Back to Our Troops! program. Now through Thursday, Nov. 8, the following items are being accepted to provide basics to our troops serving overseas during the Holiday Season:

  • Athletic tube socks
  • hand warmers
  • new pens and writing paper
  • playing cards
  • Power Bars
  • Zip Lock bags filled with tooth brushes and tooth paste
  • powered drink mix
  • Ramen noodles
  • beef jerky
  • movie-size candy(Life Savers, Jolly Ranchers, Smarties, Twizzlers, Dum Dum pops, Starburst, Skittles, Swedish Fish, Air Heads, Sour Patch Kids, Sweet Tarts)
  • licoricehard candy - mix bags
  • granola barssmall bags of dried fruit
  • bags of peanuts
  • Girl Scout cookies
  • hot chocolate

The Giving Back to Our Troops! collection bin is located in the lobby of the fire station headquarters. Letters or cards of inspiration for the troops are also welcome. The Holliston Fire Department provides fire and emergency medical services with a staff of over eighty on-call personnel, responding to more than 1200 incidents annually.  Sprint Nextel offers a comprehensive range of wireless and wireline communications services bringing the freedom of mobility to consumers, businesses and government users.
