HCA Receives Feasibility Grant From Mass. Cultural Council

The grant will allow the center for the arts to hire a consultant and review the fundraising and planning for their renovation and expansion.

As the Hopkinton Center for the Arts works toward completion of their renovation at 98 Hayden Rowe St. help is coming from all sides.

Most recently the HCA announced a $20,000 grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

According to a press release the money will be used to hire a consultant to review the HCA's business plan for fundraising and planning the expansion.

“We have navigated a series of important benchmarks recently, which going forward all fit together to strengthen the capital project. This grant and the resulting deliverables will further our efforts tremendously," Executive Director of the HCA Kelly Grill said.

Through the project what was a dairy farm when it was built in the 19th century will become a state-of-the-art performance and studio facility for all types of artists.
