The Hunt For Egg-citement Is Over This Week

Drop in for arts and crafts at the Library, hunt for Easter eggs at Christ the King Lutheran Church or celebrate Winnie The Pooh's birthday.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you or your kids will do for the weekend. Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your "done-work-outta-here" time and a few picks for the kids as well.

WHERE/WHEN: (600 Central Street, Holliston; 508-429-5705) — Friday, 10 a.m. to 12 noon

WHY GO: Kids can enjoy an Easter egg hunt and the money raised is for a good cause. Proceeds will benefit the Grace scholarship fund. Don't forget to bring a collecting basket.

 PRICING: $5 per child/$15 per family maximum.

WHERE/WHEN: (370 Hollis St., Holliston; 508-429-0677) — Monday, 7 to 9 p.m.

WHY GO: The Holliston PTSA is sponsoring the film Race to Nowhere on Monday, April 25th at 7 pm with a panel discussion to follow. Open to all.

WHERE/WHEN: (752 Washington Street, Holliston; 508-429-0617) — Monday, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WHY GO: Attendees can sing songs, read stories and play games all about Pooh and his friends. This event is appropriate for pre-schoolers. Bring a picnic lunch and drink for your child.

5. Benefit Concert For Japan

WHERE/WHEN: (12 Highland Street, Natick; 508-653-4312) — Friday at 7 p.m.

WHY GO: The public is invited to a benefit concert for the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear crisis in Japan. The event will be held in the school's dining hall with student performances in music, theater, dance and readings. In addition, visual art postcards will be sold and refreshments will be served. Tickets can be purchased at the door. All proceeds will go to Japan's Red Cross.
